Divine Response to Spiritual Partnership

The winds of Divine blessings can blow in many different ways. Eltâf-ı İlahiye meltemleri öyle farklı eser ki.
Dry deserts, cracked earth, infertile soil, trees without carbon dioxide, will blossom in an instant with the bliss of spring and be revived. Bir de bakarsınız, kupkuru çöller, yarık yarık olmuş zemin, kuvve-i inbâtiyesini kaybetmiş toprak, karbondioksitsiz ağaçlar, birden bire bahar neşvesiyle, baharın Sabâ edasındaki makamıyla canlanır; bir haşr ü neşr olur.
In the treatises Resurrection and the Hereafter and The Supreme Sign, it is emphasised that the revival in spring is a proof of resurrection in the Hereafter.
God has the power to do anything; He can instantly create spring from nowhere. Allah'ın gücü, her şeye yeter; O, hiç umulmadık anda baharlar halk eder.
Winter has surrounded you and there is ice everywhere; people constantly slipping and falling over. Etrafı kar-kış bastırmış, her taraf buz bağlamış; kayan kayana, tekleyen tekleyene, düşen düşene.
You then witness the winds warm winds of spring appear, melting the icebergs, transforming into fountains and rivers.
This has happened many times in the past.
If something happens once it can happen again anytime.
What has happened is the most persuasive reference for what will happen. Olanlar, olacak şeylerin en inandırıcı referansıdır.
At a time of drought, didn't God grant you, especially your Vanguard (Bediüzzaman), may Paradise be his station, Bir kuraklık dönemde Allah (celle celâluhu) size, hususiyle sizin önünüzdeki Pişdârınıza, makamı Cennet olsun,
to the Spokesman of Our Age, a spring weather in those deserts?
Then didn't you, your friends and people older than you spread around the world planting seeds?
Didn't those seeds sprout? O tohumlar, çoğu yerde başağa yürümedi mi?
Didn't the seedlings grow tall like cypresses? Dikilen fideler, selviye dönüşmedi mi?
Why shouldn't the same things happen once again? Bundan sonra niye aynı şeyler olmasın ki?
Therefore, hopelessness in this case becomes an act of disrespect towards Him.
Hopelessness is the uttering of doubting God's might and strength. Ümitsizlik, Allah'ın güç ve kuvveti mevzuunda tereddüt yaşamanın -esasen- hırıltılarıdır.
There is no individual that is not under God's domain. "Şey" kelimesi, "küll"e izafetle, tamlayan-tamlanan terkibi içinde "her fert" demektir; hiçbir fert yoktur ki, Allah'ın ona gücü yetmiş olmasın.
All individuals. Her ferde.
There are so many examples of this in the Qur'an with variations.
'Believe in this correctly' it says, 'Put your trust in this, "Buna doğru inanın" diyor, "Buna bel bağlayın, itimâd edin.
Rather than trusting yourselves trust that God will do everything and rely on him.' Kendinize güvenmeden daha ziyade, Allah'ın her şeyi yapacağına güvenin, itimâd edin."
'Matters will be as determined by the ultimate Truth and Ever-Constant "Hakk'ın olıcak işler
It is useless to worry about and complicate a matter Boştur gam u teşvişler
He does whatever He wills Ol, istediğini işler
Let's see what the Master does, Mevlâ görelim neyler
Splendid is whatever He does!' Neylerse güzel eyler."
'When God manifests Himself with His favour, He makes everything easy; "Hak, tecelli eyleyince, her işi âsân eder
He creates the means to whatever is desired and grants it in an instant.' Halk eder esbâbını, bir lahzada ihsan eder."
You know these things. Bildiğiniz şeyler bunlar.
'When the Ultimate Truth manifests Himself with His favour, He makes everything easy. "Hak tecellî eyleyince, her işi âsân (kolay) eder.
Halk eder esbâbını, bir lahzada ihsan eder."
You already know these things. I'm merely repeating them. Bunlar, sizin bildiğiniz şeyler; ben, tekrar ediyor.
If by repeating, I'm giving you a headache, I apologize to you and seek God's forgiveness. Tekrarım tasdî'e (baş ağrıtmaya) vesile oluyorsa, sizden özür dilerim, Allah'tan da af dileğinde bulunurum.
'We seek the light even if we are surrounded by darkness. "Dört bir yan kararsa da biz, ışık peşindeyiz
We hold torches and go to the far corners of the world.' Ellerimizde meşale, Çin'de-Maçin'deyiz."
We strive to exalt the Word of God. İ'lâ-i kelimetullah olsun.
So that God is known, loved and respected in all corners of the world. Allah, dünyanın dört bir yanında bilinsin, sevilsin, sayılsın.
So that the majestic name of our noble Prophet resonates on every hilltop, every tower, every minaret, and every tree like a waving flag. Hazreti Rasûl-i Zîşân'ın nâm-ı celili, bayrak dalgalanması gibi hemen her zirvede, her kulenin başında, her minarede, her ağaçta dalgalansın.
So that the truth of 'Muhammad is the Messenger of God' resonates everywhere. "Muhammedu'r-Rasulullah" hakikati dalgalansın.
If you concentrate your efforts towards this goal, God will respond with unimaginable bounties to you.
'Make God beloved by His servants so that He may love you.' "Sevdirin Allah'ı kullarına ki, sevsin Allah da sizi."
Wouldn't you want to be loved by God? Allah tarafından sevilmek istemez misiniz?
This is God's reaction to your actions. "Mukabele" bu.
Your love would sometimes manifest itself as enthusiastic love, and sometimes as anguishing love such as that of Majnun's love to Layla, or Farhat's love to Shirin, or Wamiq's love to Azra. Sometimes, it can even be a weakness. Sizin sevginiz bazen aşk u heyecan halinde, bazen sizi ızdıraba sevk edecek şekilde, Leylâ'nın Mecnun'u sevk ettiği, Şirin'in Ferhat'ı sevk ettiği, Azra'nın Vâmık'ı sevk ettiği gibi olabilir; bazen bir zaaf haline dönebilir.
But when considering these statements in relation to the Qur'an and Tradition they should always be regarded as 'reaction'.
God reacts with love to your love. Sizin sevginize, O, sevgiyle mukabelede bulunur.
How would God compliment you? O (celle celâluhu), nasıl bir iltifatta bulunur?
You give one on His way, and get ten or twenty in return. Siz, bir verirsiniz, bazen on alırsınız, yirmi alırsınız.
That's how He answers your love. O sevginin karşılığı.
For instance, if God replies to you, 'I am pleased with you', it is such a reply that you feel its pleasure to your bones, you will faint from pleasure.
You'd say, 'There is nothing more pleasurable than this.' "Yahu bundan daha zevkli bir şey yokmuş" dersiniz.
The breeze of pleasure would rush over in such a way that you'd pass out with joy.
If you are told, 'You left a beautiful world behind with many houses with beautiful gardens and clean air, like the gardens here in Pennsylvania', you'd say, 'Was that actually a real place?' Size "Bir dünya vardı arkada, bırakıp geldiniz; bağı vardı, bahçesi vardı -bu Pennsylvania gibi- evleri vardı, tertemiz havası vardı" filan dense, "Yahu var mıydı böyle bir şey" filan dersiniz.
You'd forget all the beauties of the past; they'd all vanish. Unutursunuz geçmişte olan bütün güzellikleri; hepsi silinir gider gözünüzün önünden.
Beyond all the beauties that He scattered throughout the universe, when you see the Divine Beauty, as the Prophet says, 'Like seeing the full moon on a clear sky', you'll pass out from immense pleasure: Bir de O'nun kâinattaki bütün güzelliklere tecellî olarak serptiği, saçtığı, serpiştirdiği o güzelliklerin de ötesinde Cemâlini, Efendimiz'in (sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem) beyanıyla, Dolunay'ı ufukta gördüğünüz/müşahede ettiğiniz gibi gördüğünüz zaman bayılıp kendinizden geçeceksiniz:
'It seems that this is what the real world is, we chased after empty worlds "Meğer dünya buymuş; biz, boş dünyalar arkasından koşturup durmuşuz.
'It seems that this is what the real world is, we chased after empty worlds' "Meğer dünya buymuş; biz, boş dünyalar arkasından koşturup durmuşuz."
You did not chase these worthless worlds. Siz, boş dünyalar arkasından koşturup durmadınız.
If you have a legitimate job or business and earn money rightfully, no one can say a word.
The Honourable Uthman, earned a living rightfully and became very wealthy.
But this wealth was always beneath his feet, in his control.
If he was asked for all of his wealth, he'd say, 'My God! "Bunların hepsini ver" dendiği zaman da "Allah Allah.
'Why hadn't you asked for it earlier?' Şimdiye kadar niye istemediniz bunları" falan.
Abdurrahman ibn Awf, with God's leave, started off as a porter and become one of the wealthiest in Medina. Abdurrahman İbn Avf, Allah'ın imkân vermesi ile, hamallıkla işe başlayıp Medine'nin zenginlerinden biri haline gelmişti.
He was among the Ten Companions Promised Paradise and had migrated from Mecca; he was in immigrant, just like many of you. Aşere-i Mübeşşere'den, Mekke-i Mükerreme'den giden muhacirlerden idi; sizin çoğunuz gibi muhacir idi o da.
But after a warning from the Messenger of God about being one of the last to enter Paradise, he spent everything he for the sake of God.
Everything he spent in this world resembles a seed. O, burada onları saçıverdi; onlar birer tohum gibi toprağın bağrına düştüler.
The Qur'an states: Kur'an-ı Kerim buyuruyor:
'The parable of those who spend their wealth in God's cause is like that of a grain that sprouts seven ears and in every ear, there are a hundred grains. "Mallarını Allah yolunda infak edenlerin hali, yedi başak bitiren ve her başakta yüz dane bulunan bir tohum gibidir.
God multiplies for whom He wills. Allah, kime dilerse ona kat kat verir.
God is All-Embracing (with His mercy), All-Knowing' (Al-Baqarah, 2:261). Allah, (rahmet ve lütfuyla her varlığı) kucaklayan, (merhametiyle kullarına) genişlik gösterendir; (kullarının halini) hakkıyla bilendir" (Bakara, 2:261).
You planted a seed and it bore seven ears of grain. Bir tohum attınız, yedi tane başak oldu.
And in each ear of grain, there are one hundred grains. Her başakta da yüz dâne var.
Do you see how one grain became seven hundred? Şimdi bir dâne, yedi yüz oldu mu?
God's blessing. Allah'ın lütfu.
God, as a symbol of multiplicity, says it like this, He may even grant you a million.
The things you put forward, the things a very small person like me will put forward, are directly proportional to your station and understanding.
But the Divine Essence is all encompassing in all aspects; with His knowledge, will, clemency, mercy, compassion, care, comfort and blessings. Fakat Zât-ı Ulûhiyet, her şeyi muhittir, her şeyi ile; ilmi ile, iradesi ile, kudreti ile, re'feti ile, şefkati ile, utûfeti ile, Rahmâniyeti ile, Rahîmiyeti ile, Hannâniyeti ile, Mennâniyeti ile.
Therefore, if you plant a single seed, he will retaliate as if a million was planted.
He will retaliate with such things; it will make you feel dizzy each time.
With every head-spin you will become drunk in ecstasy. Her başınız dönüşünde, sermest olursunuz, kendinizden geçersiniz sarhoş gibi.
As I mentioned before, once you see the eternal beauties of that place, you will say, 'This is what you call real beauty.
We felt it, tasted it, became intoxicated with it, lost ourselves to it.' Biz, duyduk, tattık, mest olduk, sermest olduk, kendimizden geçtik."
People should yearn for this; they should not seek what is less valuable than their own worth. İnsan onu istemeli; kendi kıymetinin altındaki şeylere talip olmamalı.
Muhammad Lütfi Effendi says: Alvar İmamı diyor ki:
'I wish for a love picking roses, with a soul bearing red. "Dilber-i gülberg isterem, ruhları ahmer olmalı,
I wish for the conqueror of Khaybar, with Qambar by his side. Fâtih-i Hayber isterem, yanında Kanber olmalı.
The one who's heart is of holy light, the beauty of heavenly companions. Sahn-ı sînesi nûr ola, cîm-i cemâli hûr ola
As large as the sun, I wish for a love like that.' Güneş gibi fehûr ola, öylece dilber isterim."
One should desire such a thing that it should be equivalent to one's quality of creation, to the perfection of potential, to the best of stature. Öyle bir şey istemeli ki, insanın yaradılış keyfiyetine, donanımındaki mükemmeliyete, "ahsen-i takvîm"e uygun düşsün.
Now think of a man; a man like a sultan, the head of the state.
He is collecting things from a garbage bin claiming, 'I will make something from these objects.' Gitmiş, çöp kutularından çöp topluyor, "Bunlardan ben bir şey yapacağım" diye.
What an inappropriate deed. Ne kadar uygunsuz bir iş.
To reconcile that with his high standing is impossible. Çünkü onun o kâmet-i bâlâsı ile onları telif etmek mümkün değildir.
That would suggest he is insulting himself, disrespecting himself. Kendine hakaret ediyor o, demektir; kendisine karşı saygısızlık yapıyor demektir.
What do I think is befitting for him? Bence ona düşen şey nedir?
To go to a goldsmiths market and to, if possible, buy gold plated in silver, silver plated in gold. To buy bangles, earrings, necklaces. Sarraflar çarşısına gitmek, var ise imkânı, orada altın üzerine gümüş, gümüş üzerine altın almak, bilezik almak, küpe almak, gerdanlık almak.
If it is permissible to buy these, then it is a different matter.
Therefore, one must be a seeker of things suited to their high value. Dolayısıyla kâmet-i kıymetine uygun şeylere talip olmak lazımdır.
Whatever a person is seeking also reflects the level of their value. İnsan, neye talip ise, bu, aynı zamanda onun kâmet-i kıymetini aksettirir.
The desire is a sign, indication, expression of the value of the seeker. Talebin kıymeti, tâlibin kıymetinin remzi, işareti, beyanı, ifadesidir.
Whatever you choose to seek, you have chosen to put forward your own value, your own high-standing. Neye talip olmuş iseniz, aynı zamanda kendi kıymetinizi, kâmet-i bâlânızı ortaya koymuş olursunuz.
Humans are such creations that to be attached to anything other than love of God and love of the Messenger is to do one's self disrespect. "İnsan" öyle bir varlık ki, Allah sevgisinden, Rasûlullah sevgisinden başka bir şeye dilbeste olduğu zaman, kendisine saygısızlık yapmış olur.
Look, have a look at physical selves. Bakın, siz kendinize bakın.
To which part of you do you object? Nerenize itiraz ediyorsunuz?
'If this part were not like this, but like this' and so on. "Şurası şöyle değil de, burası böyle olsaydı?" filan.
Ask an ear-nose-throat expert. Bir kulak-burun-boğaz uzmanına bir sorun.
Let them give you a calculated explanation. Bunları riyazî bir düşünce ile size anlatsın.
This thing you call a nose, this nasal passage, it has this function and this function and this function.
According to the calculations of probability its perfection has a probability of one in a trillion.
If you take the ear away, it will be as such; the eye, as such; the mouth, as such. Kulağı alsanız, öyle; gözü alsanız, öyle; ağzı alsanız, öyle.
What you see, things related to what you perceive; what you taste, the relationship between your mouth and the things you taste.
All of these are sound and intact, probability wise, they are one in a trillion.
He created you in this perfect beauty; you cannot see a fault in yourself. Bu güzellikte sizi yaratmış, böyle mükemmel; hiçbir kusur göremezsiniz kendinizde.
It cannot be more perfect than this. Bundan daha mükemmel olamaz.
Since there is no other perfection other than this, when the spiritual anatomy with matches the material anatomy, when the heart and the spirit rises to their the degree of life, just like the Noble Spirit of the Master of Humankind, Gabriel will be encouraged to say: Bundan daha mükemmeli olmadığından dolayı, o, Cenâb-ı Hakk'ın lütfettiği o donanımı, maddî anatomisinin yanında o manevî anatomisini inkişaf ettirdiğinde, yani hayvaniyetten çıktığında, cismâniyeti bıraktığında, kalb ve ruhun derece-i hayatına yükseldiğinde, Hazreti Rûh-u Seyyidi'l-Enâm gibi (sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem) Cebrail'e dedirtecek ki:
'Proceed. "Yürü.
Tonight is your night. Top senin, çevkan senindir bu gece.
If I take another step, I will burn' the Prophet was born from a mother and came from a drop of water, just like you.
But by evaluating his stance, by determining what he was going to request, he surpasses Gabriel; surpasses all the past Prophets. Fakat o kâmete göre durumunu değerlendirdiğinden, talep edeceği şeyleri çok iyi belirlediğinden, talip olacağı şeyleri çok iyi tayin ettiğinden dolayı, Cibrîl-i Emin'in önüne geçiyor; bütün peygamberân-ı ızâmın da önüne geçiyor.
So God created you with such capacities; it is necessary to make the most of these qualities. Demek ki Allah (celle celâluhu) sizi öyle olma donanımında yaratmış; donanımın hakkını vermek lazım.
You are not of the quality to spend your time collecting trash from bins. Evet, siz çöp kutularından çöp ayıklayacak mahiyette değilsiniz.
You are beings that should be working with gold, silver, emeralds, peridots and rubies: you have the potential of acquiring them. Altınlar ile, gümüşler ile, zümrütler ile, zebercetler ile, yakutlar ile oynayacak, onları peyleyecek, aynı zamanda onları alacak mahiyette yaratılmış varlıklarsınız.
How? O da nedir?
Give the reins of your heart to God, be devoted to Him. Gönlünüzü Allah'a kaptırmak, O'na "dilbeste" olmak.
This is dependent upon displaying an attitude fitting servanthood to the Divine Essence and disregarding the carnal soul.
As I mentioned just then, human anatomy consists of 'material and spiritual anatomy'. Biraz evvel bahsettiğim gibi, insan anatomisi, "maddî anatomi" ile -onun yanında- "manevî anatomi"den ibarettir.
Doctors do not use this but a human's spiritual anatomy is one's heart, spirit, conscience, perception, comprehension and internal structure. Bunu tabipler kullanmıyorlar ama insanın manevî anatomisi, onun kalbi, ruhu, vicdanı, hissi, ihsasları, şuuru, idraki, içyapısıdır.
This is so perfect. Bu o kadar mükemmel ki.
If a human knows their value, they would not forage in garbage bins; instead they will give their heart to the Divine Essence. Evet, eğer insan bu mükemmeliyete göre kendi kadrini/kıymetini biliyorsa, bağışlayın, çöp kutularını takip etmez, takip edeceği şeyleri takip eder; dolayısıyla gönlünü kaptıracağına kaptırır, Zât-ı Ulûhiyete kaptırır.
There are so many reasons to love Him.
I had made mention of human anatomy with my simple and limited expression.
The human being is the index of the universe. İnsan, kâinatın bir fihristi.
In theory, if you read and perceive yourself properly, you will be able to read the universe correctly too.
Thus the book of the universe is in essence a detailed human being; the universe is an unveiling of a human being.
The Honourable Sage Bediüzzaman expresses this: Hazreti Pîr, öyle ifade ediyor:
The universe is like a large human; and the human is a miniature universe.
As the human is a microcosm, so too the universe is a macro-human being. "İnsan küçük bir âlem olduğu gibi, âlem dahi büyük bir insandır.
This micro-universe is an index and summarised form of that macro-human.
So the macro-originals of models among human beings will necessarily exist in the macro-human. İnsanda bulunan numunelerin büyük asılları, insan-ı ekberde bizzarure bulunacaktır."
If you achieve a proper reflection, contemplation, and discussion, then you can study the Book of the Universe reliably. Enfüste isabetli bir tefekkür, tedebbür, tezekkür ortaya koyduğunuz zaman, kâinat kitabını mütalaa etmede hata etmezsiniz.
As you progress through the pages, paragraphs, you will become overwhelmed.
When you run from tree to tree, and kiss them; you will say, 'This too, is a work from his pen'. Ağaçtan ağaca koşarsınız, öpersiniz onları; "Bu da O'nun kaleminden çıkmış" dersiniz.
You will close in and kiss the grains on the ground, saying, 'These too are from him'. Kapanır, yerlerde başakları öpersiniz; sarılırsınız onlara, "Bu da O'ndan" dersiniz.
You will embrace the ants and the termites. Karıncalara sarılırsınız, termitlere sarılırsınız:
'All these have emerged from a certain genius; are products of His divine power. "Bunların hepsi ilim programına göre, O'nun Kalem-i Kader ve Kudret'inden çıkmış şeyler" dersiniz.
Today, there is so much that makes you love him!
When you list all of these, and interpret these properly, and hear their voices in the right context and when you abstain from the evils of the cursed Satan, your love will deepen further. Bütün bunlar sıralanınca, doğru okununca bunlar, onların size verdiği ses doğru duyulunca ve mesele şeytanî şerarelere kaptırılmayınca, O'nu daha derinden seveceksiniz.
When your frequency is aligned to such things, and you are careful to not be interrupted by evil deeds, by God's will, your love will amplify. Çok sağlam gelen şeyleri kalibrasyonlara tâbi tutarak, o sinyallerin içine şerarelerin girmemesine dikkat ettikçe, Allah'ın izni-inayetiyle, Allah'ı seveceksiniz.
Thus, your love to the noble Messenger will increase as he introduces you to God, may He be glorified and exalted. Dolasıyla O'nu (celle celâluhu) size tanıtan Zâtı (sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem) da seveceksiniz.
Don't we say in the supplication by our noble Prophet: Peygamber Efendimiz'den öğrendiğimiz bir duada da demiyor muyuz?
'My Lord. "Allah'ım.
Make us love our faith, keep our heart steadfast with it; turn us away from corruption, hypocrisy and defiance. İmanı bize sevdir, onunla kalblerimizi tezyin et; küfrü, fıskı ve isyanı bize çirkin göster.
Allow us integrity and maturity in thought and action, and right conduct and correct behaviour. Bizleri rüşde ermişlerden eyle."
This is the noble Prophet's prayer, derived from the Qur'an. Kur'an-ı Kerim'den me'hûz (alınmış), Efendimiz'in duası bu.
When the Qur'an describes the greatness of the respected Companions: Sahabe-i kiramın kâmet-i bâlâlarını anlatırken buyuruyor:
'Always bear in mind that God's Messenger is among you. "Hem bilin ki, şüphesiz aranızda Allah'ın Rasûlü vardır.
If he were to follow you in many affairs of public concern, you would surely be in trouble (and suffer loss). But God has endeared the faith to you (O believers) and made it appealing to your hearts Eğer (o), birçok işte size uyacak olsaydı, gerçekten sıkıntıya düşerdiniz; fakat Allah, size imanı sevdirmiş ve onu kalblerinizde süslemiştir.
And He has made unbelief, transgression, and rebellion hateful to you.
Those are they who are rightly guided (in belief, thought, and action)' (Al-Hujurat, 49:7). İşte onlar, gerçekten doğru yolda olanlardır" (Hucurât 49:7).
This is how the Companions are described in the Qur'an. O kâmet-i bâlâları böyle anlatıyor ayet-i kerime.
Our noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, requests a prayer from the skies.
I assume that when you read this verse you think to yourself, 'Truly if this is like this, then I must also say it that way'.
My God. Allah'ım.
Give me pleasure in faith İmanı sevdir bana" duygusuyla dolar.
My God. "Allah'ım.
Embellish our hearts with it so much so that our heads spin.
Let our heads spin from the expressions from the depth of faith, against those it seeks to enlighten. İmanın derinliklerinin bize ifade ettiği şeyler, analize ettiği şeyler karşısında başımız dönsün."
Due to 'faith', 'attainment', 'love' and 'spiritual pleasure', a lot will be put in front of you and as you look at its exhibition your heads will spin. O "iman" sayesinde, o "marifet" sayesinde, o "muhabbet" sayesinde, o "zevk-i ruhânî" sayesinde öyle şeyler önünüze saçılacak ki, o sergiye baktığınız zaman, o meşhere baktığınız zaman, başınız dönecek.
My God. "Allah'ım.
'Give us the pleasure of faith, and fill our hearts with it'. İmanı bize sevdir, onunla kalblerimizi tezyin et."
The opposite: Tersi bunun:
'Show impiety, defiance and disbelief to be as repulsive to us, they are deadly viruses. "Küfrü, fıskı ve isyanı bize çirkin göster" bunlar, onları öldürücü virüs; bunlar güve.
Make disbelief hideous to us, make us revile it, and make us feel the same to those that lead us to it. Küfrü bize kerih göster, ona karşı içimize tiksinti ver, küfre götüren şeylere karşı tiksinti hasıl olsun içimizde.
'Show impiety, defiance and disbelief as repulsive to us'. "Küfrü, fıskı ve isyanı bize çirkin göster."
Essentially, those that fall out of what God prescribed are referred to as being in 'impiety' Esasen Allah'ın, bizim için takdir buyurduğu çerçevenin dışına çıkmaya "fısk" deniyor.
Just as God has made us in the best form and nature, the limits are clear. Allah, bizi ahsen-i takvîme mazhar yaptığına göre, esasen, çerçeve bellidir.
When you go beyond these, you are going below your form, and this is impiety.
When snakes and mice go beyond where has been designated for them, and enter people's homes, they have also engaged in impiety.
Indeed, the transgressor of the bounds set by God. Evden, deliklerden çıkan fâsıklar.
Indeed, the one who transgresses the boundaries is called 'transgressor' and this action is called 'transgression'.
My God. "Allah'ım.
Make that heinous to us'. Onu da bize çirkin göster."
Defiance is going against God, it is engaging in untruth, anything rejected, sins, lies, deceit, wrongdoing, slander, malediction, and deceit. "İsyan", Allah'a başkaldırma; her türlü münkerât, her türlü günah, yalan, iftira, tezvir, başkasının ayağının altını kazma, başkasına karşı içinde kin, nefret tutma, hased ile kötülük yapma, küfrün yaptırtmayacağı şeyleri yapma, hafizanallah.
'Show those as hideous to us', and give us integrity and maturity in thought and action, and right conduct and correct behaviour. "Bunları bize kerih göster Allah'ım." "Bizi rüşde ermişlerden eyle."
The word 'maturity and integrity' is also referred to as what enables us to tell our right hand from our left hand. "Rüşd" kelimesini, insanın elinin sağını solundan ayırması, elinin sağını solunu birbirinden tefrik etmesi hali şeklinde ifade ederler.
They know their path, they can distinguish between opposites. Elinin önünü-arkasını biliyor artık; neyin ne olduğunu biliyor; güzeli, çirkini birbirinden tefrik edebilecek duruma geliyor.
When they need to make choices, things they know which nature they belong to. Ortaya değişik şeyler konduğunda, neyin hangi mahiyette olduğunu biliyor.
Make us one of them. İşte bizi onlardan eyle.
Being able to differentiate between good and evil. İyiyi-kötüyü birbirinden tefrik etme.
In the language of the scholars of the Islamic theology, 'Distinguish us with rational beauty. Bunu Usûliddin ulemasının diliyle ifade edecek olursanız, "Hüsn-i aklî ile bizi serfirâz kıl.
Distance us from rational ugliness.' Kubh-i aklîden bizleri fersah fersah uzak kıl" demek oluyor.
Yes, if one falls in love with God, may He be glorified and exalted, I believe they will turn their back to everything else but Him, will put everything under their feet and will dance on top of them. Evet, insan, kaptırılması gerekli olan Zât'a (celle celâluhu) gönlünü kaptırırsa, zannediyorum O'nun dışında her şeye sırtını döner, her şeyi ayaklarının altına alır; raks etmek doğru bir şey değildir fakat onun üzerinde raks eder.
In one sense this is honour, dancing on worldly desires.
'One with sincerity and righteous deeds is the one who dislikes being praised and one who sees praise as an insult.' "İhlaslı kimse, sâlih amel işleyen ve insanların kendisini övmesinden hoşlanmayan, övülmeyi sövülme gibi gören insandır."
This quote belongs to Jesus. Hazreti İsa'ya ait bir sözdür, bu.
The Honourable Sage Bediüzzaman was one of these people; he was a sincere man following their path. Hazreti Pîr, o yolda olanlardan birisidir; onları takip eden bir muhlistir.
He says, 'I neither like myself nor those who like me.' "Ben kendimi beğenmiyorum, beni beğenenleri de beğenmiyorum" diyor.
In response to 'You performed righteous deeds, and served the means to all these beauty, you are honoured', he says, 'No I am not honoured, I am just temporary.' "İyilik yaptın, güzelliklere vesile oldun, mazharsın" mülahazasına karşı, "Hayır mazhar değil memersin" diyor bir sözde.
All this beauty belongs only to Him. Esas o güzellikler O'na ait.
When you face the Sun, it is its rays that reflect on you, therefore this beauty belongs to the Sun. Sen güneşe açık durduğun zaman, ondan gelen şualar sana aksediyor, dolayısıyla ona ait.
Enter a dark tunnel and watch if any of these rays remain on you. Hele kendi karanlık tüneline gir bakalım, güneşin o ışınları kalıyor mu senin üzerinde?
He says for himself: Kendi için diyor:
'O my ostentatious carnal soul! "Sen ey riyakâr nefsim.
Do not be proud of your services on God's path. 'Dine hizmet ettim.' diye gururlanma.
"Sometimes, God makes a sinful person serve religion as well." You are not pure, so regard yourself as that dissolute person." 'Allah, bazen, bu dini, fâcir bir adamın eliyle de te'yîd buyurur.' sırrınca, müzekkâ olmadığın için, belki sen kendini o racül-i fâcir bilmelisin.
Purge yourself of self-admiration and pride by considering your service and worship as thanksgiving for God's past favours to you, a duty required by your humanity and a consequence of your being God's work of art', says the Spokesman of Our Age, the great man. Hizmetini, ubudiyetini, geçen nimetlerin şükrü ve vazife-i fıtrat ve fariza-i hilkat ve netice-i sanat bil, ucb ve riyadan kurtul" diyor Çağın Sözcüsü, büyük insan.
I believe, great men have a deeper confrontation with their soul as they raise up in spiritual degree. Zannediyorum, manevî mertebeleri itibarıyla yukarıya doğru çıktıkça, büyüklerde daha derin bir nefisle yüzleşme görülüyor.
Even the Rightly-Guided Caliphs faced themselves at the same spiritual state.
If you have scrutinised the article (in the Çağlayan magazine) about 'confrontation with oneself', you will understand that this feeling gets heavier as there is spiritual escalation.
It will become so heavy that, one will virtually be crushed under it.
For this reason, the Pride of Humanity used to pray like this, so much so that it attracted our mother Aisha's attention: Onun için İnsanlığın İftihar Tablosu, Âişe validemizin dikkatini çekecek şekilde -bugün yine tekerrür etti- şöyle dua ederdi:
'O controller of hearts! "Ey kalbleri evirip çeviren Allahım.
Secure my heart onto your religion'. 'O who transforms hearts from state to state, turn our hearts to your worship'. 'O who has ultimate discretion over hearts'. Benim kalbimi dininde sabitleyip perçinle." "Ey kalbleri halden hale koyan Rabbim, kalblerimizi ibadet ü tâatine yönlendir." "Ey kalbleri evirip çeviren Allah'ım.
'Reinforce my heart in religion', says the Messenger of God; the one for whom all of creation was created. Kalbimi dinde sâbit kıl" diyor İnsanlığın İftihar Tablosu; yüzü suyu hürmetine varlığın yaratıldığı İnsan diyor bunu.
To imagine him having a wayward heart is disrespectful to him. O'nun hakkında bu türlü şeyleri mülahaza, O'na karşı saygısızlık olur.
But because of his courtesy and respect to God, he says these things. Fakat O, Allah'a karşı edebinin/saygısının gereği olarak bunu diyor.
And by doing so, he emphasises the importance of the matter. Bir de o meselenin önemini vurguluyor.
And teaches the ones following him an important lesson.
'O controller of hearts!' "Ey kalbleri evirip-çeviren Allah'ım.
Secure my heart in religion.' Kalbimi, dinde sâbit kıl."
Because he repeats this prayer so many times, our Mother Aisha asks her question in astonishment to which the Messenger of God replies: Bu duayı çok tekrar etmesi üzerine, Âişe validemiz, o hayretli sorusunu sorunca, Efendimiz buyuruyor ki:
'The heart is between the two fingers of God'. These are allegorical or ambiguous phrases. "Kalb, Cenâb-ı Hakk'ın iki parmağı arasındadır" bunlar, "müteşâbih" ifadeler.
As I mentioned previously, whatever function your hands perform, or your eyes, ears or mouth.
Comparably correspond- with respect to his incomparable absolute exaltedness, sacredness and sanctity, to His 'Divine Holy, Impeccable, High Attributes' and 'Glorified, Exalted, Sacred Qualities'. Zât-ı Ulûhiyet'te -bî-kemm u keyf münezzehiyeti, mukaddesiyeti çerçevesinde- o türlü fonksiyonları edâ eden bir kısım "Evsâf-ı Âliye-i İlahîye-i Münezzehe-i Mukaddese", "Sıfât-ı Sübhâniye-i Münezzehe-i Mukaddese".
This is how we can approach the matter. Meseleye öyle bakmak lâzım.
Whatever it is that is performing a certain function, albeit in a limited and micro capacity, it is referring to that which performs that function but in a complete and true capacity.
For that reason, he says: 'The heart is between the two fingers of God; he can direct it to whichever direction He wills'.
Then, one more time... Öyle ise bir kere daha:
'O controller of hearts!' Ey kalbleri evirip-çeviren Allah'ım.
Make my heart, the hearts of our sisters and brothers, our friends, allies, supporters, sympathisers, those present in four corners of the world, the future ones, those with capability, those with warm feelings, Beni, kardeşlerimi, dostlarımızı, taraftarlarımızı, sempatizanlarımızı, dünyanın dört bir yanında hâzır olanları, gelecekte olanları, işe müstaid olanları, mütemayil bulunanları, sempati duyanları.
Make them secure and firm in faith. Bütününün kalblerini imanda sâbit kıl.
Make them all turn towards righteous deeds. Bütününün yüzlerini amel-i sâlihe müteveccih kıl.
Indeed, as Bediüzzaman said: 'The sincere prayer of the majority attracts communal and widespread relief'. Evet, "Ekseriyetin hâlisâne duası, ferec-i umumîyi cezbeder" diyor Hazret.
I believe if everyone forms a chorus with these words, then God, may He be glorified and exalted, will accept this collective prayer.
We will support each other's prayers like the bricks supporting a dome. Âdetâ başbaşa vermiş kubbe taşları gibi birbirimize destek oluruz.
What then? Ne olur o zaman?
He says: 'Collaboration in works concerning the Hereafter'. I have not seen this phrase used by anyone else; it is coined by the Spokesman of Our Age, Bediüzzaman. "İştirâk-i a'mâl-i uhreviye" diyor; bu tabiri bir başkasında görmedim, Çağın Sözcüsü söylüyor bunu.
Since the prescription is for this age, God causes the Spokesman of Our Age to propose this remedy.
He says, 'Collaboration in good deeds concerning the Hereafter'. Diyor ki, "iştirâk-i a'mâl-i uhreviye" (uhrevî amellerde iştirak).
For instance, reading the entire Qur'an each day from beginning till end. Mesela, Kur'an-ı Kerim'i her gün hatmetmek istiyorum, baştan sona kadar.
I don't know if Abu Hanifa did it all the time; sometimes he would recite the entire Qur'an in two units of Prayer. Ebu Hanife, bilmiyorum her zaman yapıyor muydu; bazen iki rekâtta Kur'an-ı Kerim'i hatmediyordu.
Such great people once graced the Earth Ne insanlar yetişmiş.
What great people have come about by watching the actions of the Noble Spirit of the Master of Humankind. Hazreti Rûh-u Seyyidi'l-Enâm'ı izleyerek ne insanlar yetişmiş.
If we were to include Imam Shafi amongst these great people, you would say, 'My God! Şâfiî'yi alsanız, onu da o kefeye koysanız, "Allah Allah.
They look so alike to one another. Yahu bunlar ne kadar birbirine benziyor?
Is this him? Bu, o mu?
Or is this him?' O, bu mu?" dersiniz.
If you were to include Imam Malik, Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Yahya ibn Main, Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud as-Sijistani and Nasai, you would say, 'My God! İmam Mâlik'i alsanız, Ahmed İbn Hanbel'i alsanız, Yahya İbn Maîn'i alsanız, Buharî'yi alsanız, Müslim'i alsanız, Ebu Davud es-Sicistânî'yi alsanız, Nesâî'yi alsanız; "Allah Allah.
They resemble each other so much; God has created them all alike.'
They are all alike in terms of their spiritual anatomy, the boundlessness of their soul, the depth of their thoughts, their being at the summit of the life of the heart and spirit. Manevî anatomileri itibarıyla, ruh enginlikleri itibarıyla, iç derinlikleri itibarıyla, kalbî ve ruhî hayat itibarıyla zirveleşmeleri açısından, birbirlerine o kadar benziyorlar bunlar.
Let me mention a quote: Evet, diyor ki bir yerde:
'Just as almsgiving will fend off perils.' "Nasıl sadaka belayı defeder."
It will revoke calamity. Belayı def eder.
'Just as almsgiving will fend off perils, the sincere prayer of the majority revokes grief.' "Aynen öyle de ekseriyetin hâlisâne duası, ferec-i umumîyi cezbeder."
If this is the prescription provided, our responsibility is to make use of it; Ee bu meselenin reçetesi bu ise, bize düşen şey, o reçeteyi kullanmaktır:
Sincerely asking God for an encompassing relief, reaching a salvation and triumph. Hâlisâne, bir ferec-i umumîyi, bir kurtuluşa erişi, bir fevzi, bir necâtı Allah'tan istemek.
Now, let's say we want to recite the entire Qur'an. Şimdi Kur'an-ı Kerim'i hatmetmek istiyoruz.
'If only I had the chance to read the entire Qur'an in one night', it is possible through the expansion of time. "Ah keşke imkânım olsa da onu bir akşamda, bir gecede bir bitiriversem" bast-ı zaman ile olabilir.
A person whose word I trust once said, 'There was a clock in front of me. Back then, I had made it a habit to make up for my past Prayers. Benim, sözüne inandığım birisi, "Önümde saat duruyordu" demişti "O zamanlar, eskiden kıldığım namazların -herhalde öyle yapıyormuş- hepsini kaza ediyordum.
That day I had intended to pray forty units. O gün de kırk rekât kılmaya niyet ettim.
And the clock was in front of me. Saat de önümde duruyordu.
I completed the forty units, checked the time, and realised only five minutes had gone by.' Expansion of time. Ben kırk rekâtı bitirdim; saate baktım, beş dakika geçmiş" bast-ı zaman.
Our minds may not comprehend such things, but time and space are relative.
God will enrich your 'limitations' with such great vastness, that you will be left stunned.
So tell me, who would you rather be devoted to instead of such a generous Sultan?
You may think you can't do this, but you simply can't do it alone. Şimdi bunu yapamıyorsun, tek başına yapamıyorsun.
'Then, my dear friend, you read one part from the Qur'an, I'll read another, and let so and so read another. "O zaman, arkadaş, bir cüz sen oku, bir cüz de ben okuyayım, bir cüz de falan okusun.
Let Ali read one part. Bir cüz Ali okusun.
Let Veli read one part. Bir cüz Veli okusun.
Let a crazy one read one part. Bir cüz deli okusun.
Let Abu Bakr read one part. Bir cüz Ebu Bekir okusun.
Let Omar read one part. Bir cüz Ömer okusun.
Let Osman read one part. Bir cüz Osman okusun.
  Bir cüz Ali okusun.
Let Hasan read one part. Bir cüz Hasan okusun.
Let Husayn read one part', and in doing so, you finished reading the whole of the Qur'an in one day. Bir cüz Hüseyin okusun" böylece siz, bir günde Kur'an-ı Kerim'i hatmettiniz.
You will receive the reward from God as if you read the whole of the Qur'an on your own. O otuz cüz Kur'an-ı Kerim'i tek başına hepiniz okumuş gibi sevap alırsınız.
This is what we call the spiritual partnership in good deeds concerning the Hereafter. İştirâk-ı a'mâl-i uhreviye, bu demek.
For example, it is not at the level of the Qur'an; it can't be for it is the words of the Almighty.
But there are things which signal from there. Ama ondan tereşşuh eden şeyler var.
Consider it all the way from the time of the noble Prophet until the Rightly-Guided Caliphs, from them to the great saints, to Abdal (the Substitutes), to Awtad (the Pillars), to Aqtab (the Poles), to Ghawth (the Spiritual Helper) , to Shah al-Jilani, Abu'l Hasan al-Kharaqani, Aqil al-Manbiji, Sheikh al-Harrani, and according to some, Maruf Karkhi, blame it on my lack of understanding, up until the Spokesman of Our Age, the Honourable Sage Bediüzzaman. Tâ Efendimiz'den alın Râşid Halifelere, onlardan alın da o büyük Velilelere, Abdal'a, Evtâd'a, Aktâb'a, Gavs'lara, tasarrufları vefat ettikten sonra dahi geçen Şâh-ı Geylânîlere, Ebu'l-Hasan el-Harakânîlere, Akîl Menbicîlere, Şeyhü'l-Harrânîlere, bazılarına göre, Maruf el-Kerhîlere, Kıtmir'in idraksizliğine verin, Hazreti Sâhib-i Zîşân'a (Çağın Sözcüsü'ne) kadar.
These are people whose effect still continues to resonate to this day. Bunlar, tasarrufları devam eden insanlardır.
They received everything from the source, and filtered every matter according to the Qur'an. Bunlar, kaynağından almışlar, Kur'an'a göre filtre etmişler o meseleleri.
They said whatever they said in line with the Qur'an. Söyleyecekleri şeyleri Kur'an çizgisinde söylemişler.
Shah Jilani said the same; Muhammad Bahauddin Shah an-Naqshband also said the same. Şâh-ı Geylânî, öyle söylemiş; Muhammed Bahâuddin Nakşibendi hazretleri, öyle söylemiş.
Look at the supplications of Shah an-Naqshband. İşte Evrâd-ı Kudsiye-i Şâh-ı Nakşibendiye'ye bakın.
They compiled Shah Jilani's supplications into the form of a book; there are a few of them mentioned in the Imploring Hearts.
His entire litany is in the form of a book as thick as a finger. Bütün virdleri, parmak kalınlığında bir kitap halindedir.
Look at Abu Hasan ash-Shadhali, Imam Zayn al-Abidin, Ismail Halwati, Mustafa Bakr as-Siddiqi. Ebu Hasan Şâzilî hazretlerine bakın, İmam Zeynülâbidîn hazretlerine bakın, İsmail Halvetî hazretlerine bakın, Mustafa Bekrî es-Sıddîkî hazretlerine bakın.
They looked at matters by filtering it through the Qur'an: Bunlar esasen, Kur'an-ı Kerim ile meseleyi filtre ederek almışlar:
'May God forbid that it be something opposite of the Qur'an. "Aman ona ters bir şey olmasın.
May God protect it from being something the noble Prophet, upon him peace and blessings, didn't do. Aman, Efendimiz'in bu mevzuda ortaya koyduğu temel disiplinlere aykırı bir şey olmasın."
That is how they supplicated to their Lord. O'na göre Allah'a diyecekleri şeyleri demişler.
When choosing words, they chose them based on the Qur'an and its references. Kelimeleri seçerken, Kur'an'a göre, Kur'an'ın referansına göre o kelimeleri seçmişler.
Nobody can use words the way God's Messenger did. Hiç kimse, Efendimiz'in dediği gibi diyemez ki.
Therefore, they chose accordingly and prepared invocations accordingly. Dolasıyla ona göre seçmişler, ona göre virdler meydana getirmişler.
For this reason, the shadow of authenticity, the Collection of Parts. Onun için, aslın bir gölgesi, Mecmûatü'l-Ahzâb.
May God be forever pleased with the figure of Imam Gumushanevi for he prepared and compiled them into three volumes. Gümüşhanevî hazretlerinden Allah ebeden razı olsun, üç cilt halinde yapmış onu.
And later on the noble sage Bediüzzaman, finishes reading those three volumes every fifteen days. Sonra Pîr-i Mugân, Şem'-i tâbân, Ziyâ-ı himmet, o üç cildi on beş günde bir hatmediyor.
My mind does not comprehend, it is the expansion of time. Aklım almıyor, bast-ı zaman.
He writes all of those treatises. Adam, onca risale yazıyor.
At this time, he wrote 130 pieces of The Risale-i Nur Collection while also reading three volumes every 15 days.
Furthermore, he would often be editing this work.
Then, your friends produced a collection of prayers titled Al-Qulubu'd-Daria (The Imploring Hearts) from different parts of this work. Sonra sizin arkadaşlarınız yeni bir tashih ile bazı virdleri/duaları/hizbleri alıyorlar; "inleyen, sızlayan, ney sesi veren, kalbleri inleten" manasına "el-Kulûbu'd-Dâria" adıyla bir dua mecmuası meydana getiriyorlar.
Why did I mention these? Bunu niye dedim, bunları niye söyledim?
The reason being: Bu gevezeliğin arkasındaki kafiye şu:
It is impossible for any one of us to read this book in one day.
As it is more than 700 pages. Çünkü yedi yüz küsur sayfa.
Even if you read for 24 hours on end, it wouldn't finish. Yirmi dört saat okusanız, bitmez bu.
As you have seen for yourself, you would read ten pages and realise that thirty or even forty minutes have already passed by. Çünkü çok defa deniyorsunuz, on sayfayı okuyunca, yarım saat, kırk dakika geçiyor.
If you were to read each word by thinking of its meaning, it would take an hour; reading it with the awareness of being in the presence of God, it would surpass an hour. Her kelimeyi düşünerek okursanız, bir saat ister; her kelimeyi düşünerek, tam; Allah karşısında duruyor olma hissiyle, "ihsan" şuuruyla okuyacak olursanız, bir saat.
Then see how long it really takes. Ondan sonra hesap edin kaç saatte.
But, there is an easy way to approach this matter, collaborating in good deeds concerning the Hereafter. Ama bu meselenin bir kolay yolu var; işte, iştirâk-i a'mâl-i uhrevîye.
Ten pages for Ali, ten for Veli, ten for such and such... On sayfa Ali, on sayfa Veli, on sayfa deli, on sayfa bilmem kim, on sayfa kim, on sayfa kim.
This way that huge book is split up. Böylece o kocaman kitap, bölüştürülmüş oluyor.
And every day that book is finished. Every day its entirety is written amongst the prayers and recitations of each of those who read their part.
When there are such ways of ease, why would we make things harder for ourselves?
Let us not confine ourselves to the limits of space, time, and our own selves. Mekânın darlığına, zamanın darlığına, kendi darlığımıza mahkûm etmeyelim.
Let us explore all the freedom that our souls offer us.
With God's will and beneficence, let us look to reach boundless distances.
And so, by offering so much humble devotion and supplication to God Almighty altogether, we also pray for the wellbeing and protection of our brothers and sisters who are in this with us. As though sprinkling salt on the icy roads that they will cross.
The roads are full of ice these days... Günümüzde yollar çok buzlu.
And so, we must unite in our prayers, almost like a choir. Buna karşı arkadaşlarımızın ağız birliği yaparak, duayı koro haline getirmesi lazım.
Many have come and gone before us who orchestrated this symphony of sincere invocation to God. Ee bu işi, bu senfoniyi idare eden zatlar, gelmiş-geçmiş.
If you wish, you could pray to God as though praying alongside these greats, you can collaborate in their prayers also.
You can present your prayers to God Almighty by referencing the prayers of the Honourable Bediüzzaman, Saba, Ushshak, Rast, Huzzam, Sagah, Hijaz, and so on. Hazreti Bediüzzaman'ın okuyuşuna bakıp Sabâ mı dedi, Uşşak mı dedi, Rast mı dedi, Hüzzâm mı dedi, Segâh mı dedi, Hicaz mı dedi, ona göre meseleyi koro haline getirerek, Cenâb-ı Hakk'a öyle sunabilirsiniz.
This is something like sprinkling salt on that shared route on which we walk together with our friends, by God's grace and will.
Salt? Ne tuzu?
Salt may cause some to slide. Tuz, yine kaymaya sebebiyet verebilir.
Instead of salt, whatever substance can break the ice. Buzun buzluğunu kırabilecek ne ise şayet.
The things that will cause that ice to melt... Buzu buzluktan çıkarabilecek şeyler neler ise şayet.
Do you wear chains on your feet, to become well-established wherever you step. Zincir mi takıyorsunuz ayaklarınıza, bastığınız her yerde sâbit-kadem mi oluyorsunuz.
You may consider it with the point mentioned earlier. Biraz evvelki mülahazaya bağlayabilirsiniz:
By God's grace and will. Allah'ın izni-inayetiyle.
Now, turning ones into thousands, to millions with the principle of participation in ethereal deeds is something that is expected of God Almighty's mercy, His forgiveness, His bounty, the capacity of His mercy, His compassion. Şimdi böyle "iştirâk-i a'mâl-i uhrevîye" düsturuyla "bir"leri "bin"ler yapma, "milyon"lar yapma, Cenâb-ı Hakk'ın rahmetinden beklenen şey, Hannâniyetinden beklenen şey, Mennâniyetinden beklenen şey, vüs'at-i rahmetinden beklenen şey, Rahîmiyetinden beklenen şeydir.
We're expecting. Bekliyoruz.
Our heads on the threshold of His Mercy and Compassion, we are whining. Başımız, O'nun Rahmâniyet ve Rahîmiyetinin eşiğinde, inliyoruz.
Our hands on the knocker of His door; we touch that knocker with the ache of our hearts; with a heart ache or with the 'God-consciousness of restraint'.
By God's grace and will, these temporary storms will one day fade away one by one.
The feet on people's heads now will drop to the ground one by one.
The lights will arrive, penetrate the darkness, by God's grace and will. Işıklar gelecek, zulmetleri delecek, Allah'ın izni-inayetiyle.
'Storm of light on the horizon "Ufukta ışık cümbüşü
Darkness disappearing Hırıl hırıla zulmetler
And the deep splendour of light' Ve her tarafta gürül gürül nurlar."
God will show us those days. Allah, o günleri gösterecek.
Let us end with a prayer: Dua ile noktalayalım:
Oh God the All-Living and All-Subsisting One. Ey Hayy u Kayyûm olan Allah.
We beg what we beg from Your mercy. Sen'in rahmetinden dileniyoruz dileneceğimiz şeyleri.
We open our hands, place our heads on Your threshold, and ask for whatever we desire from You. El açıyor, başımızı kapının eşiğine koyuyor, ne istiyorsak Sen'den istiyoruz.
Do not leave us with our carnal soul for single moment. Göz açıp kapayıncaya kadar, bizi, bizimle/nefsimizle başbaşa bırakma.
Do not leave us with our carnal soul for moments shorter than the blink of an eye.
And in a weak narration, 'Do not leave us alone with anyone.'
