How does the Gülen Movement help wider society to adapt to modernity?
The Gülen Movement presents to the wider society new cultural, organizational, and relational models. It teaches individuals to use their constitutionally given rights to contribute to and serve society positively. In general terms, the Gülen Movement is best described as “a form of collective, purposive, and organized social altruism that has arisen from civic society.” Non-profit services are sources of diversity and innovation which provide both people and policymakers with the vehicles, alternatives, models and solutions to deal with social ills.
