Time to Unite

In the Jawshan the following is mentioned: Şöyle deniyor Cevşen'de:
We cannot add anything to the Jawshan; we do not have such power.
'You are the All-Compassionate.' "Şefkatlilerin en şefkatlisi Sen'sin."
Because 'compassion' is an important factor in this line of work.
When all aspects of being a human are considered, a connection is made with everything using the heart because of the Owner of that heart.
Because of Him... O'ndan ötürü.
To love Him, to love creation because of Him... O'nu sevme, O'ndan ötürü varlığı sevme.
To love creation for His sake... Varlığa O'nun hatırına şefkat duyma.
To accommodate everyone for His sake... O'nun hatırına her şeye ve herkese bağrını açma.
'I have enough room in my heart for anyone, I can accommodate everyone. "Sinemde/vicdanımda herkesin oturabileceği bir sandalye, bir koltuk var; herkesi misafir edebilirim.
I can have a deep connection with all the worlds. Bütün cihanlara karşı derin bir insanî alaka duyabilirim.
I can embrace everyone with compassion and generosity. Herkesi şefkat ile, mürüvvet ile kucaklayabilirim.
Nobody will be disappointed with me!' Hiç kimse benden beklediğini bulamama inkisârı yaşamaz!"
Something like this... Bu manada bir şey.
I tried to tell you the qualities that every believer should have.
Reflection and compassion... Tefekkür ve şefkat.
To begin with, humans are weak, poor, lowly and needy. Başta, insan âciz, fakir, alil, zelil, muhtaç.
One needs compassion, mercy and love. Kendisi şefkate, merhamete, muhabbete muhtaç.
If it was not for God's love we would not survive for even a minute.
This is how it is. Her şeyde öyle.
Because he is treated with so much mercy, he needs to show the same treatment to all of creation, based on the ideal of 'being trained with Divine Manners'. Kendisine öyle muamele yapıldığından dolayı, "İlahî ahlak ile ahlaklanın!" fehvasınca, insana düşen şey de herkese bağrını açmak.
'People connect, not with those that share the same language but with those that share the same emotions', says Rumi. Hususiyle, Hazreti Mevlana ifadesi, "Aynı dili konuşanlar değil, aynı duyguyu paylaşanlar."
The travellers of the same path, those who aim for the same ultimate goal, those who strive for the same purpose. Aynı yolun yolcuları, aynı hedefi hedefleyenler, aynı gâye-i hayal arkasından koşanlar.
These people should bond so well that even if all the devils were to come together they should be inseparable. Bunlar öyle kenetlenmeli ki, bütün şeytanlar toplansa, bunları birbirinden koparamamalılar; öyle kenetlenmeli.
It is very easy to form a strong bond in years of ease where there is comfort and luxury. İyi zamanda, her şeyin şakır şakır önümüze varidât döktüğü anlarda, o ganimet karşısında kenetlenme kolaydır.
But sometimes in years of hardship under pressure accusations and divisions may arise: Bazen, belâ ve mesâib karşısında, balyozların başa inip-kalktığı hengâmda, atf-ı cürümler mülahazası baş gösterir:
Comments like 'If these people didn't do this, this wouldn't have happened' which are inspired by Satan are uttered and people begin to blame those around them. "Falanlar böyle yapmasalardı, filanlar şöyle yapmasalardı, biz de bunlara maruz kalmazdık!" gibi tamamen şeytanın dürtüleri ile atf-ı cürümler başlar; dilden-dudaktan dökülen şeyler ama şeytanın dürtüleri ile, başkalarını, en yakınındakileri karalamalar başlar.
They will also participate in others efforts for division and separation. Elin-âlemin ayrıştırmasına onlar da iştirak ederler.
If the world is dividing, separating and causing people to fight, do you think Satan will sit still? Âlem ayrıştırıyor, bölüyor, milleti birbiriyle boğuşturuyor, yaka-paça haline getiriyor; şeytan durur mu?
An oft repeated statement by Bediüzzaman: Çok tekerrür eden, Hazreti Pîr'e ait söz:
'Numerous harmful obstacles appear before works of great good; devils will be at war with the servants of this mission!' "Umûr-i hayriyenin muzır mânileri olur; Şeytanlar, bu hizmetin hâdimleriyle çok uğraşırlar!"
Therefore, they will be at war with you, they will be at war with those people who walk on the correct path with the correct goals and Divine ambitions, those on the path of exalting the Word of God and exalting the truth. Dolayısıyla, uğraşacaklar; doğru yolda yürüyen, doğru şeyi hedefleyip giden, çok yüksek bir gâye-i hayale dilbeste olan, "İ'lâ-i Kelimetullah" ve "İ'lâ-i Hak" yolunda bulunan insanlarla uğraşacaklar.
Those who want to spread the Majestic Name of God to the world. Nâm-ı Celîl-i İlahî'yi bütün dünyaya duyurmaya çalışanlarla.
But on a different wavelength of self-disclosure. Ama değişik tecellî dalga boyunda duyurma.
Not everyone can feel it like Abu Bakr, Uthman and Ali, may God be pleased with them; but can feel it like their successors and those who succeeded the successors, like the great revivers, like the saints, the respected scholars of purity, and those made near to God, according to their ranks. Herkes onu Ebu Bekir, Ömer, Osman, Ali gibi (radıyallahu anhüm ecmaîn) duyamayabilir; fakat Tâbiîn gibi duyabilir, Tebe-i Tâbiîn gibi duyabilir, müçtehidîn-i ızâm gibi duyabilir, evliyâ-i fihâm, asfiyâ-i kirâm, mukarrabîn-i ızâm gibi duyabilir.
While some will feel it as commoners, like myself.
Yes, some may be able to feel it at your level as well. Evet, kimisi ise sizlerin seviyesinde duyabilir.
Your level is a little higher, I cannot say anything about it; because I maintain a good opinion about it. Sizinki üst biraz, bir şey diyemem ona; çünkü hüsnüzan besliyorum.
God has allowed you to do many things. Cenâb-ı Hak çok şey yaptırdı.
The things He has made you accomplish is the most persuasive reference for future accomplishments.
Do you think God, may He be glorified and exalted, Who has given you such blessings up until now will leave you with disappointment? Bugüne dek o kadar eltâf-ı Sübhâniyede bulunan Allah (celle celâluhu), sizi hiç yaptığınız şeylerin yıkılması karşısında inkisârda bırakır mı?
He will bless you with plenty of paths, multiples of what you achieved up until now. Ayrı ayrı yollar lütfeder ve ayrı ayrı yollarda, bugüne kadar kat' ettiğiniz mesafeyi katlatarak yeniden size lütfeder.
With the will of God, willpower, ordinary conditions; inclinations or control of inclinations are yours. Allah'ın izniyle, irâde, şart-ı âdî; meyelân veya meyelânda tasarruf, size ait.
But creating, making you happy and content, allowing for whatever you want to be possible in the universe, the power for all of this, true resource and strength belongs to God. Ama meseleyi ortaya koyma, yaratma, sizi memnun etme, mesrur etme, istediğiniz şeyleri bütün kâinatta gerçekleştirme, o Kudreti Nâ-mütenâhî'ye, gerçek havl ve kuvvet sâhibi Allah'a ait.
God will give whatever he has given you up until today in the future as well.
Yes, all of these remind us of a matter, most of you would have remembered it as well: Evet, bir hususu hatırlatıyor bunlar; zannediyorum, sizin çoğunuz da hatırlamışsınızdır:
'If you do not help him (the Messenger), yet, for certain, God helped him when those who disbelieve drove him out (of his home during the Hijra). "Eğer Siz Peygambere yardımcı olmazsanız, Allah vaktiyle ona yardım ettiği gibi yine yardım eder.
The second of the two when they were in the cave (with those in pursuit of them having reached the mouth of the cave), and he said to his companion (with utmost trust in God and no worry at all): "Do not grieve. God is surely with us." Hani kâfirler onu Mekke'den çıkardıklarında, iki kişiden biri olarak mağarada iken arkadaşına, 'Hiç tasalanma, zira Allah bizimle beraberdir.' diyordu.
Then God sent down His gift of inner peace and reassurance on him, supported him with hosts you could not see, Derken Allah onun üzerine sekinetini, huzur ve güven duygusunu indirdi ve onu, görmediğiniz ordularla destekledi.
and brought the word (the cause) of the unbelievers utterly low. Kâfirlerin dâvasını alçalttı.
And God's word (His cause) is (always and inherently) supreme. Allah'ın dini ise zaten yücedir.
God is All-Glorious with irresistible might, All-Wise' (At-Tawbah, 9:40). Çünkü Allah azîzdir, hakîmdir (mutlak galiptir, tam hüküm ve hikmet sahibidir)" (Tevbe, 9:40).
Even if you do not help him, God has already helped him, peace and blessings be upon him. Siz, O'na (sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem) yardım etmeseniz de Allah, yardım etmişti zaten.
This is mentioned later. Sonra diyor.
This is from Chapter At-Tawbah, but when was this Chapter revealed?
It mentions the migration. Fakat o, hicreti anlatıyor.
The unbelievers chased them away from Mecca, they forced them out. İkinin ikincisi olarak, kâfirler onları Mekke'den çıkarmışlardı; çıkma mecburiyetinde kalmışlardı.
Sometimes it is unbelievers, who do this, and sometimes it is the hypocrites; they cause 'forced migrations'. Bazen bunu kâfirler yaparlar, bazen münafıklar yaparlar; böylece "cebrî hicret"ler oluşur.
They force you out; 'You cannot stay where you are, you have to go to other places.' Zorlarlar; "Olduğunuz yerde kalmayacaksınız, başka yerlere gideceksiniz."
They do this with the intention to destroy you; but if they had good and sincere intentions for doing this, they would actually be rewarded by God and enter paradise. For instance, if they thought like: Onlar, niyetleri ile, sizi yok etmeye matuf yaparlar; fakat o niyetlerinde onlar hâlis olsalar, bu yaptıkları şeylerden, kendilerini Cennet'e sokabilecek sevaplar kazanmış olurlar.
'What are you waiting for? "Ne duruyorsunuz yahu.
You have so many torches that you should use to light others' candles, and enlighten their worlds.'
If this was their intention, they might instantly be rewarded with paradise.
But they do this to harm you; and because of their oppression, you attain God's mercy and bounties. Ama birileri size zulmeder; onların zulmü yüzünden, siz, Cenâb-ı Hakk'ın lütfuna/rahmetine mazhar olursunuz.
You open yourselves up to the world by means of 'forced migration'.
Just as the Pride of Humanity did, peace and blessings be upon him.
Just as he transformed Yathrib into Medina, the center of civilization. Yesrib'i, medeniyet merkezi "Medine" yaptığı gibi.
Just as he commanded the realms from that center, with God's permission. Cihanları orada hizaya getirdiği gibi, Allah'ın izni-inayetiyle.
Indeed, he believed in this whole-heartedly. Evet, O, buna öyle gönülden inanmıştı ki.
Second of the two. İkinin ikincisi.
Only the Prophet and his loyal and truthful Companion Abu Bakr. Sadece O ve Sıddîk.
We call Abu Bakr the most truthful person; not only 'the most truthful' but 'the greatest of the truthful'.
For there is something bigger than him; the greatest of the believers in Him, the greatest truth.
The Truthful and Loyal One that first affirmed him... O'nu ilk defa tasdik eden Sıddîk.
The Truthful and Loyal One that accompanied him on his strenuous path. O'nun ile o çetin yolda, O'na refakat eden Sıddîk.
The One who exhibited loyalty, a manner beyond love. the One who did not leave him alone on the thorny path to God; 'The second of the two people.'
They, in the dominion of Thawr. Onlar, o "Sevr Sultanlığında.
Yes, the word is 'cave.' Evet, "mağara" kelimesi.
However, I feel that to call the place which God honoured a 'cave' is disrespectful, ill-mannered, arrogant. And so I, we, say and will say, 'The dominion of Thawr.' Ama O'nun şereflendirdiği o yere "mağara" demeyi saygısızlık, terbiyesizlik, küstahlık sayıyor, "Sevr Sultanlığı" diyorum, dedik, diyoruz, diyeceğiz.
The Dominion of Thawr. The great truthful one is on watch; he sees his feet. Sevr Sultanlığı. إِSıddîk-i Ekber'in gözü dışarıda; ayakları görüyor.
People are spewing hatred, like a creature with rabies, waiting for the first opportunity to attack.
They froth over the matter of 'What else can we do to abuse their rights even further?' "Daha ne yapsak, neler uydursak da bunların hakkından gelsek?" mülahazası ile köpürüp duruyorlar.
One cannot even say 'froth.' Froth is clean. They are spitting tar. Yahu "köpük" de temizdir, "köpürme" denmez buna; belki zift çalıp duruyorlar.
And when he (the great truthful one) saw that they approaching the dominion of Thawr, he got terrified, as though he were dying, 'What if they were to touch his rose petal-like hair? O (Sıddîk-ı Ekber) onların o Sevr Sultanlığının önünde dolaştığını görünce, yüreği ağzına geliyor, ölecek gibi oluyor; "Ya benim Efendimin kâkül-i gülberglerine dokunurlarsa.
Would my life not be forbidden for me?' Benim yaşamam, bana haram olmaz mı?"
He lives that panic, for he lives for that one person. O telaşı yaşıyor, O'nun için kalbi çarpan insan.
In that moment, 'Do not be worried my friend! O esnada, "Tasalanma dostum!
God is with us.' Allah, bizimle beraberdir."
He does not say as the noble Moses did to the children of Israel when they were in a moment of hardship.
'My Lord is surely with me; He will guide me (to deliverance)' (Ash-Shu'ara, 26:62). "Rabbim, benimle beraberdir; mutlaka bir yol gösterecektir, önümüzdeki ânlarda, dakikalarda, saatlerde" (Şuara, 26:62).
He did not say it like that. Öyle değil de kestirip atıyor:
'God is with us now as He is always with us!' "Her zaman olduğu gibi, şu anda da Allah, bizimle beraberdir!"
If God is with us then surely then even if the whole world were an enemy, it is meaningless. 'There is neither might nor power except in God,' crashes onto them.
And God sent Divine peace unto them; and they reached utmost satisfaction.
I believe they went through the emotional state of what Prophet Abraham felt when he was thrown into the fire. Zannediyorum o esnada seyyidinâ Hazreti İbrahim'i ateşe attıkları zaman, onun yaşadığı ruh haletini yaşadılar.
He 'submitting to God', 'surrendered to God', 'confided in God' and endured being thrown into the fire. O, حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ veya رَبَّنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ deyip Allah'a "Tevekkül"ünü, "Teslimiyet"ini, "Tefviz"ini, "Sika"sını ortaya koyarak ateşe atılmayı göze aldı.
He declined the assistance of Archangel Gabriel. Cebrail'in yardım teklifini itti, elinin tersiyle itti:
He said, 'If God is aware, I ask for nothing from anyone!' and God made the fire cool and peaceful. "Allah haberdâr ise, kimseden beklediğim bir şey yok!" dedi, Allah da ateşi berd ü selâm yaptı.
There was such serenity in that moment, such contentment. Öyle bir sekine indi O'na o esnada, öyle bir itmi'nân indi.
Beyond contentment, perfect reliance upon God, submission to God, absolute commitment upon God; leaving everything up to God. İtmi'nânın ötesinde, tevekkül, teslim, tefvîz; her şeyi tamamen Cenâb-ı Hakk'a bırakma.
On top of this, there is 'trust': not seeing yourself, only seeing Him.
Those who declare war against such a person actually declare war against Him; those coming onto them have a manner of coming onto Him, God forbid!
(This links to the hadith, 'Whosoever shows enmity to one of My friends (someone devoted to Me), I shall be at war with him.') 'Because I do not exist, I crossed myself off. (Bu ifadelerle, "Her kim Benim veli kullarımdan birine düşmanlık ederse, şüphesiz Ben ona harp ilan ederim" (Buhârî, rikâk 38) hadisine de işarette bulunuluyor.) "Çünkü ben yokum, üzerime bir çarpı çektim.
Because what falls upon others before the Infinite is to be zero.' Çünkü Sonsuz karşısında başkalarına düşen, sıfır olmaktır."
This kind of 'trust'... İşte böyle bir "sika" duygusu.
Then, he endorsed them with soldiers that they had not seen.
They turned back; God released fear into them; they said 'It is not here!' Onlar geriye döndü gittiler; içlerine bir korku saldı Allah; "Yok burada!" dediler.
(The following is displayed on the screen.) (Sözün burasında elektronik levhaya yansıyan tabloda şu yazıyor.)
'Many bloodthirsty people walked towards Thawr, "Bir sürü gözü dönmüş, yürüdüler Sevr'e dek,
With such brutality, rage equal like magma, Bir vahşetle ki, öfkeleri magmalara denk,
These ignorant ones could not know what destiny would hold, Bilemezdi cahiller, kader ne gösterecek,
A spider and a dove protected him.' Korumuştu O'nu bir güvercin, bir örümcek."
Yes, this is a machine like sincerity. Evet, bu da makinanın ihlası.
God protected his most beloved with a spider and two doves; as if to, once again, show the truth of 'Sometimes I do great things even with the smallest things!'
As a side note: Burada antrparantez:
One of the matters that indicate and imply His greatness is the fact that He is able to bring about such great things through such small arguments.
Well wasn't yours, my apologies, like that as well? Ee sizinki de -özür dilerim- öyle olmadı mı?
Through who, did God make the things that governments couldn't do? Devletlerin yapmadığı/yapamadığı şeyi, Allah (celle celâluhu) kime yaptırdı?
Through all of you. Size.
Those who drew where they emigrate to from a hat; you spread to different places throughout the world. Kur'a çektiniz; dünyanın değişik yerlerine saçıldınız.
Each like a seed, you grew over time. Birer tohum gibi, yürüdünüz başağa.
Each like a seedling, you buried yourselves to those lands; you starting taking root in those places. Birer fide gibi, gömüldünüz yere; ser çektiniz.
Just like the time when your ancestors established their roots in Söğüt, you took root throughout the world.
Heart's opened up to you; hearts were excited with love towards you.
They embraced you and said, 'You are our brothers and sisters!' Sizi bağırlarına bastılar; "Siz, bizim kardeşimizsiniz!" dediler.
Despite all that destruction and depredation in the past four or five years, they were only able to breach a few places. Onca tahribata, dört beş senedir onca tahribata rağmen, ancak birkaç yerde gedikler açtılar, birkaç tane taşı düşürdüler.
Through different strategies, through the use of different arguments, with God's permission, you will continue on your journey. Farklı stratejiler ile, kullanılan farklı argümanlar ile, Allah'ın izniyle, siz yolunuza devam edeceksiniz.
Whatever happens, the caravan still continues. Şey bilmem ne yapar, kervan yürür.
I especially did not want to utter the following words due to it being disrespectful towards you, immoral towards God, and unsuitable to others: Diğer kelimeyi size karşı saygısızlık, Rabbime karşı terbiyesizlik, onlara karşı da yakışıksız bir laf olması itibarıyla bilhassa telaffuz etmedim:
'The caravan continues.' "Kervan, yürür."
By God's permission, you continue on your way. Allah'ın izniyle, yürüyorsunuz.
At one stage, Almighty God allowed you to accomplish many things through 'voluntary migration'.
He will not allow for the accomplishments He has allowed us to achieve go to waste. O, yaptırdığı şeylerin boşa gitmesine, yıkılıp olduğu yerde kalmasına katiyen râzı olmaz.
What is His contentment? Nedir O'nun hoşnutluğu?
The continuation of that matter... O işin devam ve temâdîsi.
That is why the duty that falls on you is to continue; your eyes, always at His door; your heads, just next to that door; your tongue, in constant recitation.
As long as He is with you, He will provide armies that are specially sent and with purpose, whom you cannot see, just as he did in the Battle of Badr.
You will walk towards your ultimate goals and desired objectives unnoticed, with the most surprising inspirations, kind treatment, beneficence, respect and obedience.
I you are walking towards Him, there is no other worry. O'na doğru yürüyorsunuz, başka bir derdiniz yok.
I don't know how to read hearts, I am an ignorant person. Ben öyle kalb-malb okuma bilmem, câhilin/zırcâhilin tekiyim.
But I do believe that the great things God made us do is fundamentally a returned favour to those with clean hearts as a matter of acceptance.
They had clean hearts, and were each a mirror, that reflected Him. Kalbler temizdi, birer ayna idi; O'nu aksettirecek birer ayna idi.
For this reason, I previously mentioned what He has made us do, you have established institutions of knowledge in one hundred and seventy countries. Onun için, -biraz evvel bahsettim size yaptırdıklarını- yüz yetmiş ülkede ilim-irfan müesseseleri kurdunuz.
You have declared war against poverty. "Fakr u zaruret"e karşı savaş ilan ettiniz.
You have declared war against ignorance. "Cehalet"e karşı savaş ilan ettiniz.
In a way, you declared war against social disunity. Bir yönüyle, "ihtilaf/iftirak"a karşı savaş ilan ettiniz.
You all said, 'O unity, O unity!' "Aman vahdet, aman birlik, aman kenetlenme!" dediniz.
You aspired this term into the institutions of knowledge. O, ilim-irfan yuvalarında bunları solukladınız.
Your attitudes and behaviours, in a way, exercised this as a mentality.
Society embraced this mentality and filled in the blanks. Yes, do you understand what this 'mashk' (practicing) really means? -Evet, bilmem "meşk"i bilir misiniz?
Calligraphers will compose a line, below that others will repeatedly repeat it over and over again and eventually succeed in composing it in the same essence. You practiced something, and society started follow in your steps to practice it.
You have announced the important, vital, renewing, revival aspirations you take from Him, the Prophet, the reviver of each century and the Spokesman of our Age to the world. Siz, Allah'tan aldığınız, Peygamber'den aldığınız, her asrın başındaki müceddidden aldığınız, Çağın Sözcüsü'nden aldığınız çok önemli, hayatî, diriltici, ba's-ü ba'de'l-mevt soluklarını dünyaya duyurdunuz.
And thus this formed a unity; God announced it to the hearts.
That is why, without falling into accusations due to the things that happened, we need to strengthen our unity.
That is why our shoulders should be so close to each other that our clothes begin to rip; our knees should be so close to each other that our pants begin to rip; our heels should be so close to each other that our socks begin to rip. Omuzlarımız, elbiselerimizi yırtacak şekilde birbirini zorlamalı; dizlerimiz, pantolonları yırtacak şekilde birbirini zorlamalı; topuklarımız, birbirimizin çoraplarını yırtacak şekilde birbirini zorlamalı.
Abu Dawud says, 'When the Companions of the Prophet prayed, their heels, knees and shoulders scraped the heels, knees and shoulders of those next to them'; that is how they made their prayers. Ebu Davud'un Sünen'inin başına doğru, "Sahabe namaz kılarken, topuklar topukları, dizler dizleri, omuzlar da omuzları zorluyordu!" diyor; öyle kılıyorlardı namazı.
Different Imams from other school of thoughts' also did this. Değişik mezhep imamları da öyle yapıyor.
In our Hanafi school of thought, it is said that, 'The feet must be four fingers' length apart!' Bizim mezhepte, "Ayakların arası dört parmak olacak!" deniyor, Hanefi mezhebinde.
It starts later in the Hanafi school of thought.
That is okay, they are all special to us. Önemli değil, hepsi başımızın tacı.
But I wanted to explain and highlight one thing: Fakat ben bir şeyi anlatmak/vurgulamak istedim:
Unity; shoulder to shoulder, knee to knee, further uniting, with God's permission and grace.
'Concord and alliance are the most important means of Divine guidance and assistance.' "Vifâk ve ittifak, tevfîk-i İlahînin en büyük vesilesidir."
This is such an important call to God's mercy that God has never left it unattended.
He never leaves any call unattended anyway. O, zaten hiçbir çağrıyı havada bırakmaz.
For this reason, accusations can appear in such situations.
The monster of these situations is accusation. Böyle durumların hortlağı, atf-ı cürümdür.
Suddenly, you will see monsters and ghosts appearing amongst you. Birden bire aranızda -bakarsınız- bir kısım hortlaklar oluşmuş.
These might say inappropriate things to support other people's words or acts. Belki başkalarının deyip-ettiklerine destek olma mahiyetinde bir kısım uygun olmayan şeyler söyleyebilirler.
They might say things that will demoralise you. Kuvve-i maneviyenizi kıracak şeyler söyleyebilirler.
These are things that will ruin your neurons, so you should ignore these, close your ears to the black mass media and concentrate on your responsibilities and issues; our elders used to say 'diligent scrutiny', you should be in full diligent scrutiny and never let way to a mental mess. Bence bunlara aldırmayarak, kulak tıkayarak, bu mevzuda o zift neşriyata kulak tıkayarak -ki bunlar, nöron kirleten şeylerdir- esasen kendi vazifenize, kendi meselelerinize bakmalı, konsantre olmalısınız; eskiler "im'ân-ı nazar" derlerdi, im'ân-ı nazar etmeli, fikren dağınıklığa girmemelisiniz.
'Even if we had a hundred hands instead of two, it will not be sufficient for this job' says the true owner of the job; even if we had four or eight hands, it would not be enough. "İki elimiz var, yüz elimiz de olsa, yine bu işe yetmez!" diyor işin sahibi; dört elimiz de olsa, sekiz elimiz de olsa, bu işe yetmez.
Therefore we should use all our concentration and attention for our issues.
We never requested anything worldly. Dünya adına bir talebimiz olmadı.
They search everywhere. Araştırdılar, karıştırdılar.
Some people, merchants amongst us earned some material success after years of great effort; but the brigands and bandits took these too. Alın teriyle bazı kimseler, bazı tüccar insanlar, bazı imkânlara sahip olmuşlardır; eşkıya, gâsıbîn, onlara da el koydu.
May it get lodged in the stomachs. Kursaklarında kalsın.
But people who had some sort of involvement with this mission never had any assets.
If they ever had worldly ambitions, others would have announced this to the rest of the world.
'Look, he has another house somewhere else' "Bak falan yerde bir evi varmış adamın!" diyeceklerdi.
They would never look at their own villas, palaces and fleets; they would still have your only house in their minds and announce it to the rest of the world like legendary fables. Kendi saraylarını görmeyeceklerdi, villalarını görmeyeceklerdi, filolarını görmeyeceklerdi; kafalarını hep sizin o tek evinize takacak, onu Firdevsî destanlar ile bütün dünyaya duyuracaklardı.
Hand in hand we are at the eve of the festival; "El ele bayramın gölgesindeyiz,
Faces are beaming, and the horizon is alight; Yüzlerde ziyâ, ufuklarda ışık;
Our formations tight; Saflarımız sımsık.
As a nation we are after reunion with the Ultimate Truth and Ever-Constant; Milletçe Hakk'a vuslat peşindeyiz,
It is manifest those who are in love with Him; Besbelli artık kimler O'na âşık;
What a pity; those who are callous; Hissizlere yazık."
What a pity; those who are heartless; Hissizlere yazık.
What a pity; those who are heartless; Hissizlere yazık.
We should unite and stick by each other. Kenetlenmeli.
We should disregard what is happening; ignore it completely; and focus only on our own goal. Olup biten şeyleri umursamamalı; onlara kulak tıkamalı, sadece kendi meselemize im'ân-ı nazar etmeli.
Our strength and capacity is sufficient for one thing; if we spread it too thin, we will do injustice to our priorities. Kuvvetimiz bizim, bir şeye yetecek mahiyette; başka şeylere onu dağıttığımız zaman, kendi işimizde kusur etmiş oluruz.
'God will inundate those He loves with suffering and sadness, "Ârifin gönlün, Hudâ, gamgîn eder, şâd eylemez,
The master will not want to free His precious slave!' Bende-i makbulünü, Mevlâsı, âzâd eylemez!"
If you are not acceptable, 'Leave!' you will be told. Makbul olmasanız, "Defolun gidin!" der.
But because you are accepted and welcome, you will be worked, ordered, and moved. Ama makbul olduğunuzdan dolayı, çalıştıracak, yatıracak, kaldıracak.
Because this is a training center; you will be shaped here for the Hereafter. Çünkü burası bir talimgâhtır; burada ahiret adına şekilleneceksiniz.
Prayer will form one aspect of your eternal build, fasting another, exalting the Word of God another. Namaz, sizin bir yapınızı oluşturacak; oruç, bir yapınızı oluşturacak; i'lâ-i kelimetullah cehdi, bir yapınızı oluşturacak sizin.
And thus you will possess an eternal build, body, form, with which you will live in happiness to eternity.
It seems to me if they put you in Hell in this state, Hell would say: 'Leave me now; you are putting out my fire!' Zannediyorum bu halinizle Cehennem'e koysalar, Cehennem diyecek ki, "Yahu defolun gidin; ateşimi söndürüyorsunuz!"
In fact in a Prophetic tradition it is said: Zaten bir hadis-i şerifte öyle deniyor:
When some are passing over the bridge between Paradise and Hell, a call will be heard: 'Pass quickly because you are extinguishing my fire!' Sırât'tan geçerken, "Yahu çabuk geçin, ateşimi söndürüyorsunuz!" nidası duyulacak.
Because your composition is of such a nature. Çünkü öyle bir mahiyet kesbediyorsunuz ki.
Especially (as pertaining to) exalting the Word of God. Hele i'lâ-i kelimetullah, hele i'lâ-i kelimetullah.
The Majestic Name of God being celebrated in all corners of the world. Nâm-ı Celîl-i İlâhî'nin dört bir yanda şehbal açması.
The Majestic Name of the Prophet being proclaimed like a flag from minarets all over the world. Nâm-ı Celîl-i Nebevî'nin minarelerde bir bayrak gibi dalgalanması.
If this is your passion, you've poured your life and soul into this mission, you are devoted with love and ardour, then nothing can be said to you, God willing. Gönlünüzü buna kaptırmışsanız, bu işin sevdalısı, âşıkı, müştâkı iseniz şayet, artık size denecek şey yoktur Allah'ın izni-inayetiyle.
Indeed, the flag he set up at that period in time will never fall, you can be sure of this, with God's leave. Evet, O'nun bir dönemde dalgalandırdığı o bayrak, hiçbir zaman yere düşmeyecektir; bundan emin olun, Allah'ın izni-inayetiyle.
Those who wrong you will regret their actions deeply. Size kötülük yapanlar, ettiklerine nâdim olup ağlayacaklar.
When that happens, their tears may even make you cry, with your profound humanity. Belki o gün, engin insanlık duygularınızla sizi de ağlatacaklar onlar.
They really wronged themselves. It's a pity. Yazık ettiler kendilerine.
In one sense, they tried to destroy religious values; they messed up, made a big mistake.
By following Satan, they wronged themselves. Şeytana uymakla yazık ettiler kendilerine.
By giving in to the whims of their carnal souls, they have ruined and lost themselves. Hevâ-i nefislerini ilah edinmekle yazık ettiler kendilerine.
With their desire to destroy all of the good that had been done, they ruined and hurt themselves. Yapılan şeyleri yıkma cehdine kendilerini kaptırdıklarından yazık ettiler kendilerine.
They hurt and ruined themselves by sailing the sea of disobedience. İsyan deryasına yelken açmakla yazık ettiler kendilerine.
They will come to you. Gelecekler.
Feeling ashamed and bending doubly in pain. Hicap duyarak, iki büklüm olarak.
And they will cry. Ve ağlayacaklar.
You will be upset and cry too. Siz de üzülecek ve ağlayacaksınız.
Because you are human... Çünkü "insan"sınız.
Because you abandoned oppression and declared 'We have no desire to be with you!' Çünkü zulme kapılarınızı kapadınız; arkasına da sürgüler sürdünüz, "Seninle işimiz yok!" dediniz.
The others did the opposite. Başkaları öyle (öbür türlü) yaptı?
We don't have the power to stop them, to tell them they are destroying their eternity.
May God give them guidance. Cenâb-ı Hak, hidayet nasip eylesin.
Those who do not adorn their faith with wisdom and spiritual knowledge will face fatigue on their path. İmanını marifet ile bezemeyen, yol yorgunluğu yaşar.
First to 'believe' then adorn your faith with 'knowledge of God'. "İman" edin, sonra onu "marifet" ile taçlandırın.
Then you will a movement from 'knowledge of God' to 'love of God'.
And this will grow into a pattern of 'ardent longing for God'. Hiç bilemediğiniz şekilde, sorguç üzerine sorguç, "aşk u iştiyâk-ı likâullah" sorgucu takılmış veya deseni işlenmiş.
And this longing, this desire will elevate you. Ve kanatlanacaksınız "iştiyak" ile.
'Whether it is suffering that comes from Your Majesty "Gelse Celâlinden cefâ
Or fidelity from Divine Beauty Yahut Cemâlinden vefâ
Both are a delight to the soul İkisi de câna safa
Pleasant are both Your blessings and wrath.' Lütfun da hoş, kahrın da hoş."
Those who have come together around the same feelings, thoughts and goals have such a depth in their turning to God in unison, such a richness in their consciousness and feelings, and such a profundity in their thoughts and concepts, that individuals of even the greatest capacity and perfection cannot attain the least of the blessings that come their way in their community.
Unity... Kenetlenme.
Unity and unity... Kenetlenmeyi yedekleyerek kenetlenme.
To make a vow, one should say: Yemin etmeli, demeli ki:
'If I am going to have ill feelings and resentment towards my brother, may God take my soul'. "Eğer ben kardeşlerime karşı içimde kötü bir duygu duyacaksam, Allah canımı alsın."
You know how some people; especially those from the East and South East of Turkey divorce their spouses inappropriately.
They come up with any excuse. "Üçten dokuza şart olsun ki" falan derler.
They just find a way. Yahu dokuz yok zaten, "üç tane" dedi mi, bitti o mesele.
Just like that, 'If I am going to hate my brothers, blame them, accuse them, say 'All this happened because of you!', may I be divorced, separated. Evet, aynen öyle, "Eğer kardeşlerimle zıtlaşacaksam, onları suçlayacaksam, atf-ı cürümde bulunacaksam, 'Yüzünüzden oldu!' diyeceksem, üçten dokuza.
Get ready to say this. Üçten dokuza" demeye hazır olmalı.
In this age, many people resort to slander to save themselves from worry and troubles; they called it 'confession', and entered into a state of slander.
They turned their hereafter into Hell. Ahiretlerini Cehennem'e çevirdiler.
Yes, we can only take pity on these souls; they fell into a state of pity. Evet, bize, onlara acımak düşer; onlar acınacak duruma düştüler.
In order to make sure that others do not fall into the same state, we must follow in the steps of the Noble Spirit of the Master of Humankind by opening our bosoms to all and ensuring that everyone can reach a state of peace.
A Prophetic saying states: Hadis-i şerif:
'It is enough of a sin for a person to state everything that he has heard!' "İnsana, duyduğu her şeyi söylemesi, günah olarak yeter!"
Someone somewhere is blowing their trumpet; you look around you and from within your ranks there are a small group of simple-minded people whispering the same rhetoric; they affect the morale and spiritual power of the others.
This issue is in essence within the rationale and logic of the Qur'an, it is composed of the solidarity of those who believe in the matter from the perspective of God and his Prophet. Bu mesele, esasen, Kur'ânî makuliyet/mantıkiyet içinde, işin Allahçasına inanmış, Peygambercesine inanmış insanların kenetlenmesinden ibaret.
This thing has nothing to do with so and so.
Our noble Prophet, the Pride of Humanity was everything. Efendimiz, İnsanlığın İftihar Tablosu, her şey idi.
With the statement of Busiri who says, 'How fortunate for us, that we have leaned on such a pillar that will never be demolished!'
He is such a figure. Şimdi öyle bir Zât.
They declare the Prophet was martyred during the battle of Uhud. O'nun hakkında, Uhud'da "Şehid oldu!" falan diyorlar.
One of the Companions stands and yells on Mount Uhud: Bir sahabî kalkıp bağırıyor, Uhud dağının üstünde:
'How can you live in a place where he is gone?' "O'nun şehid olduğu yerde siz niye yaşıyorsunuz ki?"
And that man worked to the hereafter, to the spirit of his horizon. O, ruhunun ufkuna yürüdüğü ân.
Of course he is like a sun for us; one day unexpectedly he set.
The darkness suddenly engulfed us. Karanlık birden bire üzerimize çöküyor.
If Umar were to see this, even he would be shaken with it. Hazreti Ömer bile olsa sarsılır burada.
But the loyal one who was beside him in the dominion of Thawr said, 'whosoever worships God, know that He is eternal and forever.
Whosoever worships Prophet Muhammad, know that he has walked to the horizon of the spirit!' I do not say 'die', as I cannot see that label fit the Holy Prophet; that is why I say 'walked to the horizon of the spirit.' Her kim Hazreti Muhammed'e tapıyorsa, O, ruhunun ufkuna yürüdü!" -"Öldü" demiyorum, O'na "öldü" tabirini yakışıksız buluyorum; "ruhunun ufkuna yürüdü."- diyor.
He reads this verse: Şu ayeti okuyor:
'Prophet Muhammad is merely an envoy. "Hazreti Muhammed, sadece bir rasûldür/elçidir.
and many other Messengers have passed away before him. Nitekim ondan önce de nice rasûller gelip geçmiştir.
Whoever turns back on his heels can in no way harm God. If, then, he dies or is killed, will you turn back on your heels?
Whoever turns back on his heels can in no way harm God. Kim geri döner, dinden çıkarsa, bilsin ki Allah'a asla zarar veremez.
But God will (abundantly) reward the thankful ones (those who are steadfast in God's cause)' (Al Imran, 3:144). Ama Allah hidayetin kadrini bilip şükredenleri bol bol mükâfatlandıracaktır" (Âl-i Imrân, 3:144).
'Prophet Muhammad is a Prophet amongst God's Prophets. "Hazreti Muhammed, Allah'ın peygamberlerinden bir peygamberdir.
Many Prophets also came and passed before him. Ondan evvel de çok peygamber geldi-geçti.
Consequently He also passed away.' Dolayısıyla O da vefat etti."
The Honourable Umar, the noble, pure natured individual, the one described by Mahmud al-Aqqad as 'A genius! A genius above geniuses!', says, 'I felt as though I heard that verse for the first time ever!' Hazreti Ömer, o yüksek fıtrat, yüksek fetânet, Mahmud Akkad'ın "dâhi, dâhiler üstünde dâhî" dediği insan, "Sanki o ayeti ilk defa duyuyor gibi oldum!" diyor.
And who knows how many thousands of people also come to their senses as well. Ve kim bilir binlerce insan, nasıl kendine geliyor.
Yes, it was inevitable for Him. Evet, Kendisi için mukadder.
Like the Honourable Adam, Noah, Hud, Abraham, Moses, he also walked to the horizon of the spirit.
But his cause was perpetual. Ama o dava bâkî idi.
God is everlasting, so is that cause. Allah bâkî idi, dava da bâkî idi.
It was necessary for that Message to be conveyed, people who would carry this load were needed. Onun götürülmesi gerekli idi, onu omuzlayacak insanlara ihtiyaç vardı.
That is why those carrying such a load should not be shaken by such things; they must not pay attention to anyone's hearsay.
Each of these is a sin. Bunlar birer günahtır.
Saying everything one hears is a sin. Duyduğu her şeyi söylemek, günahtır.
He or she must not attend to and be affected by such things. İştirak etmemeli, onların tesirinde kalmamalı.
They may say: Diyebilirler:
'Let them die!' "Ölsün!" diyebilirler.
I'm not sure how truthful this is, but I've heard that one of our friends has had more than forty death incantations directed at them.
What does this show? Bu neyi gösteriyor?.
In a way, they are erasing us. Bir yönüyle, silip atıyorlar.
They are forcing upon us the compulsory migration Cebrî hicrete zorluyorlar.
They are murdering people behind bars. Hapishanelerde insanları öldürüyorlar.
They are separating mothers from her children. Anneyi evladından ayırıyorlar.
They are making children cry. Çocuğu ağlatıyorlar.
They are making mothers cry. Anneyi ağlatıyorlar.
They are making fathers cry. Babayı ağlatıyorlar.
They are depriving people of all opportunities. Her türlü imkandan mahrum ediyorlar.
They are taking everything from them. Her şeylerine el koyuyorlar.
Yet, their grudge is not satisfied. Fakat hınçlarını alamıyorlar.
'No! "Hayır!
Such and such must also die. Falanın/filanın ölmesi de lazım.
If he/she does not die, these people will not let us be!'
Paranoia... Paranoya.
'What if they get strong, and come back from abroad? "Ya bunlar güçlenir, dışarıdan bir daha gelirlerse?
Like how Khomeini came back to Iran? Humeyni'nin İran'a geldiği gibi gelirlerse?
The Sultanate of the Shah will collapse. Şah saltanatı yıkılır.
What would we do? Ne yaparız biz?
This world is everything for us. Dünya, bizim için her şey.
Paradise is very far away; why would you be attached to it?
This is the world; just live your life!' Bu dünya, işte; yaşamanıza bakın!"
They say these things quite openly, too. Açıktan açığa söylüyorlar bunları da.
'That's why, some must certainly die. "Dolayısıyla, bazı kimselerin mut-la-ka ölmeleri.
If they are lawyers, they must die! Avukatlık yapıyorlarsa, ölmeleri lazım!
If they are teachers, they must die! Hocalık yapıyorlarsa, ölmeleri lazım!
If they are writing in newspapers, they must die! Gazetelerde yazı yazıyorlarsa, ölmeleri lazım!
If they are telling people about some things on the Internet, if they explain people some things through digital means, they must die so that we live!
So that we have our share from the pleasures of this world, as much as we want.' Doya doya, dünya zevklerinden istifade edelim."
Like this... Bunun gibi.
But, one should never pay attention to these things! Ama bunlara hiç kulak asmamak lazım!
'God does whatever He wills. "Allah, her ne dilerse onu yapar.
Assuredly, God decrees as He wills. Şüphesiz Allah dilediği hükmü verir ve onu infaz eder.
Whatever God wills, will occur and exist, whatever He decrees not to come into existence, does not.' Allah neyi dilerse, o mutlaka olur; O'nun olmamasını dilediği de asla olmaz."
Whatever God wills, will occur. Allah, ne dilemiş ise, o olur.
And whatever He wills not, will not. Olmamasını dilediği de olmaz.
God wills what exists and what disappears. "Var"ı da Allah diler, "Yok"u da Allah diler.
Whatever He wills, will occur: O'nun dilediği olur:
If He wills its existence, it exists, if He wills its disappearance, it disappears. var olmasını dilerse var olur, yok olmasını dilerse yok olur.
May God not will anyone's disappearance. Allah, kimseyi yok etmesin.
Not their disappearance, either. Onları da yok etmesin.
Instead, may He grant them reason, heart, belief and understanding. Yok edeceğine onlara da akıl lütfetsin, kalb lütfetsin, iman lütfetsin, iz'an lütfetsin.
This will suffice you. Vesselam.
