Fethullah Gülen’s statement of condemnation for London terrorist attack
I am deeply saddened by and strongly condemn the brutal terrorist attack in London Wednesday afternoon near the British Parliament that resulted in the death of three people, including a police officer, and left more than 20 injured.
Regardless of the perpetrators and their stated purposes, any harm against civilians is an attack on the sanctity of life, and deserves condemnation in the strongest terms. Those who deliberately perpetrate such acts have lost touch with their very humanity.
I send my deepest condolences to the relatives and loved ones of those who lost their lives, and to the people of England. I pray for the fast recovery of the injured. I also pray to God that the world is cleared from the threat of terrorism and that people around the world can live in peace and without fear or hatred.
